How do I upgrade or downgrade between plans?
The organisation owner can request a supported plan change through Manage Subscription.
Plan changes are processed through Stripe and may result in a prorated charge or credit, depending on the change and the point reached in the current billing cycle.
Owner-only billing access
Only the organisation owner can manage the subscription. Non-owner team members cannot upgrade, downgrade or cancel the organisation’s plan.
How to request a plan change
Open Manage Subscription
Sign in as the organisation owner and open the Manage Subscription area.
Select the supported plan change
Choose the available Landlord Pro or Portfolio Pro option and review the information shown in the subscription workflow.
Check the result
CertNudge will report whether the plan change completed successfully or whether the payment or subscription update failed.
Charges and credits
An active paid-plan change may create a prorated charge or credit through Stripe.
Review the billing information displayed during the subscription workflow before completing the change.
Upgrading to Portfolio Pro
Portfolio Pro increases the standard property limit from 10 to 30 and adds:
- Portfolio compliance reporting
- CSV and Excel portfolio import
- Three non-owner team seats by default
What happens when I downgrade?
Check your property count first
Landlord Pro supports up to 10 properties. If your organisation has more properties than the new effective limit, the excess properties can become read-only after the downgrade.
CertNudge does not automatically delete properties because of a downgrade. Read-only records remain visible, but actions available for those properties may be restricted until the organisation returns within its effective limit or changes plan.
Custom property limits
Organisations with a custom plan or property-limit override should contact CertNudge before changing plans, as the standard self-service options may not apply.
