How do referral links work?
Affiliate / Referral Programme
The CertNudge Referral Programme is planned for a future release. Once launched, it will reward you for spreading the word - with automated tracking from click to payout.
🔗 How the Referral Process Will Work
- Grab your personal link: You’ll find it under Profile → Referral Programme — copy the link or scan your QR code.
- Share it anywhere: Send via text, WhatsApp, email, or even include it in your invoice footer — wherever landlords are.
- They sign up: The link will direct them to the CertNudge pricing page. No promo code needed.
- You’re listed as the referrer: As long as they create an account using your link.
- We track their first two payments: Once their second payment clears (roughly 60 days), your reward will trigger.
- Payout issued automatically: Paid via bank transfer or PayPal within 24 hours — you’ll receive an email confirmation.
💷 Planned Payout Details
- £8 per referral: For your first four successful sign-ups.
- £12 per referral: For your fifth and beyond — with no cap on total earnings.
- Status tracking: Referrals will show as “Pending” until the second payment clears.
- Instant email + dashboard update: You’ll be notified automatically once the payout is processed.
⚠️ Planned Referral Rules
- New users only: Referrals must create a brand-new CertNudge account.
- Cookie window: You’ll get credit if they sign up within 30 days of clicking your link.
- Cancellations: If they cancel before the second payment, no reward will be issued — but you’ll still be credited if they re-join using your link later.
- No self-referrals: Accounts using the same email or payment card will not qualify.
- Tax responsibility: Rewards will count as income — a self-billing invoice will be auto-generated for your records.
