Can I change the email address that reminder emails go to?
Yes, you can easily redirect your notifications. While your account login remains the same, you can choose a separate inbox specifically for certificate expiry reminders to help manage your workflow.
How to change your reminder email
Step 1: Update Settings
Navigate to Settings > Notifications and enter the new address. This is ideal for shared team inboxes like compliance@yourcompany.co.uk.
Step 2: Verify Inbox
For security, we send a confirmation link to the new address. Click the link in that email to activate the redirection.
What happens during verification?
The "Safety Fallback" Policy
Until the new address is confirmed, CertNudge will continue to send reminders to your primary account email. We do this to ensure no critical deadlines are missed while your new setup is pending.
Active Status
Once verified, reminders switch immediately to the new inbox.
Login Email
Your login credentials and security alerts remain unchanged.
Reverting
Clear the field to instantly revert to your primary email.
