Can I track something that isn’t on the built-in list?

Supported Certificate Types & Validity Rules

Yes, while we have a comprehensive built-in list, you can track other documents using the generic "Other" certificate type. Full custom types are also planned.

How to Track Non-Standard Documents Now

Use the built-in "Other" type for any document not specifically listed:

1
Select "Other" Type

When adding a certificate, choose "Other" from the 'Certificate Type' dropdown list.

2
Use a Custom Name

In the 'Certificate Name' field, enter a clear, descriptive name for your document (e.g., "Boiler Warranty", "Lift Service Contract", "Council Inspection Report").

3
Set Dates & Upload

Enter the Issue Date and Expiry Date just like any standard certificate. You can also upload the relevant PDF or image file.

Track & Get Reminders

The certificate will appear on your dashboard and lists with its custom name, and you'll receive expiry reminders based on the date you set.

Coming Soon: Custom Certificate Types

Full Customisation Planned

We are actively developing a feature that will allow you to create and manage your own custom certificate types, including setting default renewal periods. This will offer even greater flexibility.

Stay tuned for updates on this feature release!
