Do you share or sell my personal data?

Security, Privacy & Data Protection

Absolutely not. CertNudge will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.

How We Use Your Data

Strictly for Service Delivery

Your personal and property data is used solely for the purpose of providing the CertNudge service:

  • To send you the certificate expiry reminders you signed up for.
  • To allow you to securely log in and access your dashboard, properties, and certificates.
  • To manage your subscription billing (via Stripe).
  • For essential account communications (e.g., password resets, important service updates).
  • To comply with legal obligations (e.g., retaining invoice data).

Trusted Service Providers (Sub-processors)

Limited & Secure Data Processing

We use a small number of trusted, GDPR-compliant third-party services only where necessary to operate CertNudge. They process data strictly on our behalf:

  • Microsoft Azure: For secure UK-based hosting of the application, database, and uploaded files.
  • Stripe: For securely processing subscription payments (CertNudge never sees your full card details).
  • SendGrid (by Twilio): For reliably sending system emails like reminders and password resets.

These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and cannot use it for their own purposes.

What About Analytics?

Anonymised Usage Data Only

We collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (e.g., which features are used most often, general trends in certificate types) solely to improve the CertNudge platform's performance and usability. This data never includes any personally identifiable information, property details, or document content.

Our Privacy Promise

Your Data Stays Yours

We will never sell or share your personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties for marketing purposes. You remain in control of your information, with the ability to download or delete it via your profile, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
