Is the Service Log legal proof of receipt

Sharing Features

The Service Log is a record of your actions, not a proof of receipt. Because you manually create the log entry yourself, it serves as an audit trail of when and how you sent a document.

What does it prove?

The log creates a timestamped history of your compliance workflow:

It Records

That you generated a secure link and recorded the action of sending it to a specific person on a specific date.

It Does Not Prove

That the recipient actually opened, downloaded, or read the document. (Read receipts are planned for a future update).

Important Note

Since the log is manually created by you (the user), it acts as a personal compliance declaration. In a legal setting, it demonstrates your administrative process but is not independent verification of delivery.
