Can I upgrade or downgrade between plans?

Billing & Payments

The organisation owner can request a supported change between Landlord Pro and Portfolio Pro through Manage Subscription.

The change is processed through Stripe and may create a prorated charge or credit. CertNudge will show whether the subscription update completed successfully or whether payment failed.

Subscription management is owner-only

Only the organisation owner can change the plan or manage billing. Non-owner team members cannot access the organisation’s subscription settings.

How to request a plan change

1

Open Manage Subscription

Sign in as the organisation owner and open the subscription-management area.

2

Select the available plan change

Choose the supported Landlord Pro or Portfolio Pro option and review the subscription and billing information shown.

3

Check the result

CertNudge will report whether the change completed or whether further payment action is required.

How are billing adjustments handled?

An active paid-plan change may result in a prorated charge or credit through Stripe.

The exact result depends on the subscription and billing cycle. Review the information displayed during the plan-change workflow rather than relying on an example calculation.

What happens after a downgrade?

Properties above the new limit may become read-only

Landlord Pro supports up to 10 properties. If the organisation has more properties than its new effective limit, excess properties can become read-only.

CertNudge does not automatically delete properties because of a downgrade. Read-only properties remain visible, but some actions may be restricted until the organisation returns within its effective limit or changes plan.

Custom plans and larger portfolios

Organisations with a custom plan or property-limit override should contact CertNudge before changing plans, as the standard self-service options may not apply.
