What does the red "Urgent Action Required" banner mean and when does it appear?

Using the Dashboard

The red "Urgent Action Required" banner appears when at least one recorded certificate is expired or expires within seven days.

It highlights certificate records that may need prompt review based on the expiry dates entered in CertNudge.

The banner is based on recorded dates

CertNudge does not independently verify the certificate, its authenticity or its legal validity. The banner is not a legal-compliance determination.

What if several certificates need attention?

The banner remains visible while at least one certificate record is expired or within the seven-day window. Updating one record will not remove the banner if another qualifying record remains.

What should I do?

1

Review the affected records

Open the expired and expiring certificate list and identify the records within the urgent range.

2

Check the source documents

Compare each recorded expiry date with the relevant certificate or supporting evidence.

3

Update the underlying records

Add the renewed certificate or correct inaccurate information once you have checked the source evidence.

Your responsibilities remain unchanged

You remain responsible for checking certificate records and arranging inspections, remedial work and renewals when required.
