What happens if I upload the wrong file type or it’s too big?

- File is too large: Over 5 MB
- File type is unsupported: Not a PDF, JPG, or PNG
- File has wrong extension or MIME type: e.g. renaming a Word doc to ".pdf" won't work

- Client-side validation: The uploader checks file type and size before it ever leaves your browser
- Server re-validation: If anything slips through, the server double-checks and blocks invalid files

How to fix it
If your file is too large, try compressing it using a tool like iLovePDF or exporting at lower scan quality.
Once corrected, simply click Retry and your upload will go through instantly.
