Where are my files stored, exactly?
Uploaded files are held in private Microsoft Azure Blob Storage.
They are accessed through authorised workflows within CertNudge or through valid, time-limited share links.
Private file storage
Certificate files are not intended to be available through unrestricted public storage addresses.
How are files accessed?
Authorised organisation users
Signed-in users can access records according to the permissions and roles available to their organisation account.
Short-lived authorised links
Normal authenticated downloads use short-lived authorised access rather than permanent public file links.
Secure share links
Anyone holding an active bearer share link may be able to access the shared resource until the link expires or is revoked.
Where is the data located?
CertNudge uses Microsoft Azure and the service providers described in the Privacy Policy.
Refer to the current Privacy Policy or contact support for information about processors and data locations.
What happens when a file is deleted?
File and record deletion is handled through CertNudge's supported deletion processes and is subject to any lawful retention requirements described in the Privacy Policy. CertNudge does not promise immediate removal from every historical or retained record.
No system can promise absolute security
Security controls are intended to reduce risk, but no online storage service can guarantee complete protection against every possible incident.
