Which certificate types are built-in?

Supported Certificate Types & Validity Rules

CertNudge includes a range of built-in certificate and evidence types. The options shown in the Add Certificate workflow are the current source of truth. Choose the closest matching type and check the document's dates and details before saving.

The available types can change as the product is maintained. Open the certificate-type selector when adding a record to see the options currently available to your organisation.

How to choose a certificate type

1

Check the source document

Identify the document's title, purpose, issue date and any expiry or renewal date.

2

Select the closest available type

Choose the option that most accurately describes the certificate or supporting evidence being recorded.

3

Review the saved record

Confirm that the property, certificate type, dates and uploaded evidence match the source document.

What if the type I need is not listed?

Contact CertNudge with the name of the document, what it records and how you need to use it.

Email support@certnudge.co.uk with the outcome you need. CertNudge will review the suggestion but cannot promise whether or when a new type will be added.

A certificate type is not a subscription plan

The presence of an HMO Licence or another specialist document type does not mean that CertNudge offers a separate HMO Pro plan. Landlord Pro and Portfolio Pro are the current self-service subscription plans.

CertNudge does not determine what you require

The available list does not determine which documents are legally required for a particular property. Check the requirements that apply to your circumstances and obtain professional or legal advice where necessary.
