Why can't I create a manual log for a Compliance Pack
The current compliance-pack workflow can associate a service record with a share link created through CertNudge.
A separate retrospective manual service-log action is not currently available for a compliance pack distributed outside that workflow.
How compliance-pack service records work
When you create and share a compliance pack through CertNudge, the service-record workflow can be associated with that secure share link.
Certificate and compliance-pack records
Individual certificate
An authorised user can add a manual service log to record how they say certificate evidence was shared or served outside a CertNudge link.
Compliance pack
The current workflow can associate a service record with a compliance-pack share link created through CertNudge.
What if I shared the pack another way?
If you downloaded or printed a compliance pack and distributed it outside the CertNudge sharing workflow, you cannot currently add a separate retrospective manual service log for that pack.
Keep any other records required by your own process, such as an email, covering letter, postal record or contemporaneous note.
Recommended workflow
Generate and review the pack
Check that the correct property records and supporting evidence are included.
Create the secure share link
Use the CertNudge sharing workflow when you want the pack and its service record to be associated with a share link.
Complete the service record
Enter accurate, proportionate information about how you say the link was shared.
A service record is not proof of receipt
A service record is a landlord-entered management record. It does not prove legal service, delivery, recipient identity, receipt or reading.
